I love Chrome extensions. They can make your life a lot easier, especially as a marketer. And you know what? Today I'm going to help you get better results in less time.
Hello, everyone, I'm Firdaus Digital, and today I'm going to teach you 14 Chrome extensions that will save you hours of your SEO work and help you get results faster. Before we start, make sure you subscribe to this channel.
And if you're on YouTube, click the warning notification. Have you ever heard the saying, craftsmen are only as good as their tools? Now that's especially true when it comes to marketing. And when it comes to marketing, if you don't have amazing tools that give you great information, it will be much more difficult for you to do your job. So let's dive right in and dive into the extensions I love to use every day. So a tool for content.
The first extension I like to use is
Grammarly. Grammarly is an all-in-one tool for marketers looking to perfect their writing and grammar skills. I have bad grammar, so what do I use? Grammatically, it's a lot cheaper than paying for editors. It tells me all the errors and what I need to fix and it's way better than spelling correction in Microsoft Word. And it's free, so check it out, use it and whenever you write an article, even if it's on WordPress, there will be a little green Grammarly icon and it alerts you if there's an error in your content that you need to fix.
That way, when you publish more content and get that traffic from Google, it will let you know if something goes wrong. The same is done when you post on LinkedIn or Facebook or other social sites. So as a marketer, you can ensure that you publish spelling and grammar-free information and text on all of these sites.
The second extension I like is Buzz sumo. This is a tool that shows you the detailed breakdown of the performance of online content snippets and topics. Extensions, it does the same thing, but with just fewer clicks. This lets you visit any page and view instant performance metrics.
This allows you to create a real-time content strategy, or brainstorm content topic ideas. That way, when you read some random articles on the web, you're like, Wait, oh, this is great, I have lots of social media shares, oh, wait, uh, not too many, it doesn't work either, OK? These will all help you improve what you are doing so that you can make the best information out there.
Let's take a look at some of the tools for SEO.
One of my favorite extensions is Keyword Surfer.
Remember the days when Keyword Everywhere was free? I love Keywords Everywhere. If you pay, great.
But now there is something new and different, Keyword Surfer. It doesn't give you all the data, but it still tells you the volumes for global, or your country and tells you other related keywords you can catch up on too. Now it also provides estimated domain traffic so you know what traffic is going to each domain and it shows the backlinks for every URL that is in the top 10 ranking.
The next extension I like, MozBar.
This is a valuable tool that allows you to see how popular your competitors are. MozBar allows you to run a quick SEO overview on any page you are on or any page that is listed on the SERP. This looks at content on the site, social media engagement, technical SEO, backlinks, domain authority, even page authority.
The next extension I like, SimilarWeb.
This tool takes all traffic sources into account during your site analysis so you can get more than basic SEO information. This allows you to take a deeper look at engagement metrics like traffic, time on site, bounce rate, and more. What's more, it allows you to see the demographics of the company's target audience and the amount of money they are spending on paid content.
The next extension, Redirect Path. This tool is more than just a broken link checker. It also helps you find other technical issues on your site.
If you encounter any kind of error you will see a red notification like this. Once repaired, it will turn green so you know you're ready to go. Your site might be downgrading due to some redirection issues you had on your site without you knowing it.
But this extension will help you identify and fix it.
The next extension, Google PageS peed.
We all know that page speed is a huge ranking factor. However, if you have a slow page speed time, your time will immediately bounce and your rankings will suffer. This extension lets you see how fast your site is loading with one click.
Not only that, but it also gives you suggestions on how to improve page speed. Another plus is that it works great for both desktop and mobile page speeds.
Next extension, META SEO in 1 Click.
This extension shows details for any website in any of these four categories, headers such as each H1, H2, H3 tag, images like how many are on the page, alt and title tags, links, internal and external total number of links, and last but not least, social data like Facebook open graphs, Twitter information on pages too.
Now for backlinks, there are several extensions that I like. One of them is Hunter.io.
We all know that, Hey, when you do outreach for backlinks, it's really hard to find people's names and information. Hutner.io provides all of that for you.
Another extension is the Majestic backlink analyzer.
We all know how difficult it is to build backlinks, but Majestic backlink analyzer can help you easily. This tool allows you to know the total number and quality of backlinks pointing to a specific page. Well, for email marketing,
one of the extensions you have to use is Boomerang.
Since the beginnings of email marketing, marketers have always wanted to know the right time to send their email and Boomerang is the answer. Because the last thing you want to do is send the email at the wrong time so that when someone loads their inbox, you're the 100th email at the bottom because nothing will go down that far.
The cool thing about Boomerang is that, not only does it show the right time, it also lets you schedule emails at the right time. So, for research, one of the extensions you should use is Link clump. If you're a research junkie like me, you know how annoying it can be to have to switch from tab to tab back and forth to take time.
Having 15 tabs open is quite common for me. With Link clump you can quickly open multiple links on the SERP with just one click.
The next extension I want you to try is Liner.
If you find great content but you want to remember a certain line, Liner lets you highlight that part of the article. It keeps you organized, allowing you to keep track of all the relevant information in large articles. Not only that, but you also save your highlights. You can also refer back to them in a later blog post. Now for OCD marketers like me, I want you to check out the One Click Extension Manager. If you've made it this far, you might be worried, Hey, you have all these toolbars and extensions, that's a lot.
Well, it lets you manage everything very easily, not overwhelmed. This allows you to quickly see what is important, what is not. This creates a one-click extension tab.
You can go down the list of each of your extensions and quickly remove, add more, and see where you miss a gap.
